    🌺 Join the Penshurst RSL Kookaburras in Honoring Our Heroes 🌺 The Penshurst RSL Kookaburras Junior Rugby League Club invites all players, families, and supporters to attend the ANZAC Sunday Commemorative Service. This is a cherished tradition for our club, reflecting our deep respect for those who have served and our gratitude to the Penshurst RSL for their unwavering support throughout the year. 📍 Where: Bridge St, Penshurst 🕑 When: 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 13th 👣 Marching: Assemble at the rear of the RSL in Connelly St by 1:45 PM Following the service, light refreshments and food will be provided at the RSL. This event is a cornerstone of our club’s identity, and we encourage everyone to participate. Let’s come together as a community to honor the sacrifices of the past and ensure this tradition is passed on to the next generation. NSW Rugby League are now allowing independent verification for dispensation under the “Weight For Age” program.   Players are able to be assessed and weighed by their GP and or local chemist and provided with a letter from them that states they are under the weight required to be dispensated. Letters must be signed by the GP or chemist and have the official stamp also. Name, Age, and weight must be included in the documentation.   The letter/certificate needs to be scanned and sent to me to allow the dispensation to be put into the players profile. All weight for age dispensations are for 1 season only.   I will still hold a Weigh In on Thursday March 20 at Netstrata Jubilee Oval, (Gate B, Park St) at 4.30pm for those unable to get to a GP or Chemist. We are running the Canteen on this Day so volunteers are Required from 6:30am to set up and cook and run the BBQ.
